Christmas Eve service on Sat. Dec. 24 will begin at 7:00 p.m. This traditional family oriented service will celebrate the Christmas story as it prepares our hearts for worship and the birth of Jesus. We will also share in the celebration of Holy Communion.

Christmas Morning After we have celebrated with our own families we will gather Sunday, Dec. 25 at 11:00 a.m. for a service celebrating the day of our Lord’s birth. Our morning will be simplified, without Sunday School or Coffee Fellowship, allowing for a more relaxed time with family & friends.

New Year’s Day Morning: Again, we will gather at 11:00 a.m. for a simplified service without Sunday School or Coffee Fellowship. We’ll enjoy an informal time to be together in the New Year!

Starting September 11, we will be changing our Sunday morning schedule for our new coffee hour!  Our early service remains at 8:30 with Sunday School starting at 9:30.  From 10:30 to 10:50, we will have our coffee hour in the Judson room.  It will be a time of fellowship, coffee, and snacks to catch up on the week and meet new people.  Our worship service will begin at 10:55am.

The mission team has returned from Haiti!  After spending several days working to build the foundation of a school, they have arrived back in Lawrence with amazing stories and a passion for mission.  Check out the pictures here.

Food demands have increased dramatically. Please consider buying something extra for the pantry each time you shop for groceries. We are in particular need of canned soup or fruit, cereal, toilet paper and paper towels. Our thanks to those who so generously give to FBC Food Pantry. If you would like to donate items, please call or stop by the church office, 843-0020.  Beginning January 1, 2012, our food pantry is open on Wednesdays from 12:00(noon)-2:00 PM and 5:30 PM-7:00 PM.
