Why do I attend First Baptist Church of Lawrence?

I have been a lifelong Baptist. I enjoy the church family, the music, and being able to experience the challenges of learning the Christian life.

Rummage Sale for Haiti #2

It went so well, we're doing it again!

This Saturday from 7:00am to 11:00am.

On August 28th, we held a church wide rummage sale.  Proceeds from sales will support our upcoming mission work in northern Haiti.  Come out this weekend and enjoy an exciting time of shopping while raising funds to help support our work in the poorest country in the Western hemisphere.

Mission to Haiti

Next summer, we as a church will be going to Haiti.  Various informational meetings and training sessions will be held throughout the school year to prepare for our trip.  If you cannot go, there are many ways you can be part of the experience.  For more information, contact the church office.

Food Pantry

Food demands have increased dramatically. Please consider buying something extra for the pantry each time you shop for groceries. We are in particular need of canned soup or fruit, cereal, toilet paper and paper towels. Our thanks to those who so generously give to FBC Food Pantry. If you would like to donate items, please call or stop by the church office, 843-0020. Our Food Pantry is open Monday & Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
