Summer Sunday School

This summer, we will be replacing our Vacation Bible School program with an intergenerational Sunday school program. We will be traveling to Egypt to hear the story of Joseph over five weeks from July 11 through August 8. Check back for registration and more details

Summer Field Trips

During the summer, we here at FBC host Wacky Wednesdays and Fun Friday trips for elementary age children. We have visited the zoo, museums, farms, and had other fun adventures. Parents are welcome to come along and join in the fun.

Last summer on July 29, 24 children and adults from First Baptist Church went to the Narnia exhibit at Union Station in Kansas City. We had a wonderful time. After visiting the land of Narnia, we headed over to Union Station where we had lunch, saw the lego exhibit, and did some shopping.

Parent's Night Out

We have had two wonderful Parent's Night Out events. Kids have come and enjoyed an evening of fun, food, and learning. Parents have enjoyed an evening out at the movies, dinner, and some have just stayed home. Keep checking back to see what other fun and exciting events we will be doing after we begin the New Year.

A typical Parent's Night Out includes...

A Parent's Night Out evening starts at 5:30pm and ends at 9:30pm. If you have any questions feel free to contact the church at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . The cost is $5 for one child, $8 for two children and $10 per family. This money is used to cover food, supplies, and other expenses.
